HxA 2025 is accepting submissions for various tracks: single presenter, symposia, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and Heterodox Conversations. We ask that all proposals, no matter what track, should be related to HxA’s mission or the conference theme.

All concurrent sessions will run for 80 minutes. Session organizers will be responsible for facilitation and time-keeping. Session organizers need to submit all information for all presenters in their proposed session.

How To Submit

Abstract submissions close on Thursday, October 31 at 11:59 p.m. ET. You will receive confirmation once your proposal is received. During the review process, we may reach out to the organizer of the submitter for additional information or clarifications, which does not necessarily indicate acceptance. Your timely response is greatly appreciated. You will be notified about your proposal via email no later than December 16, 2024. 

The Fine Print

The 2025 HxA Conference will be an in-person event. All presenters are responsible for their conference registration, travel, and accommodations. We recommend registering before February 28 to take advantage of early bird pricing and booking accommodations at a discounted rate at the conference venue (block will open later this fall).

Please keep in mind that our conference program has space for 30 80-minute sessions. Last year, we received over 100 submissions  for the conference, and we will therefore be unable to accept all submissions, even high-quality, interesting, and topical submissions. We appreciate your time and interest in the 2025 HxA Conference and look forward to seeing you in NYC June 23-25.
